DVD Race Night
At one of our video race nights the excitement is electric as we supply only the best quality DVD horse racing. Before we show any video races our compeer will introduce the evening explain the rules and what is going to happen during the course of the race night. The compeer will then invite the Audience to place their bets with our tote staff.
Video race nights can be run as a fun game for corporate or private events or as a fund raiser for a charity event. There are 8 horses in each race which are identified by number only.
Your guests choose which horses they fancy in each video horse race and place their bets at the tote desk. When all the tote ticket sales are complete a Race Video/DVD is picked at random placed into the DVD player and they’re off. At the end of each race, if any of your guests holding a winning ticket they can collect their winnings from the tote desk.
If you are running a fund raising event your profits come from a percentage of the tote sales, entrance fee, sponsors and selling the horses. Each Video or DVD is sealed so that nobody knows which horse will win, and is selected at random by one of the audience. The seal is then broken and the race is shown.
Gold Cup Horse Racing
This is a game for 4 players who have to position their hobby horse in between their legs just above their knees and hold onto the handles provided which are positioned on either side of the horse's head. Each of the four hobby horses are a different colour Blue, Green, Red & Yellow. At the start of the gold cup horse racing game, using their hobby horse each player has to simulate a galloping motion very similar to a jockey riding a horse. The faster the players perform this galloping movement the faster their horse travels up the race track towards the finishing post - the first horse to reach the finishing post is the winner of the gold cup horse racing game.
At the end of the gold cup horse racing the winning lane will light up, and the commentary will announce the colour and the name of the winning horse. At the end of each game the horses return back to their starting posts ready for the start of the next game. To add to the fun and excitement during each race, players and spectators will be able to hear the very realistic horse racing commentary, which simply encourages the players to go faster. Space required for the gold cup horse racing game is 2m x 3m.
